Portable gas chromatograph for precise on-site analysis of dissolved gases – to ASTM D3612 and IEC 60567.

Ageing processes such as oxidation or thermal breakdown steadily degrade the chemical and dielectric properties of the insulating oil. With the Mobil GC 2 you can react to faults early and reduce unplanned maintenance.

Process

How the measurement works

In just a few steps from the sample port to a standard-compliant result – the display guides you through the entire process.

Take a sample

Extract the oil sample without contamination – e.g. with the OSM2 Pro.

Fit the syringe

Place the syringe on the port of the Mobil GC 2 and start the measurement.

03

Degas automatically

After degassing, the gas sample is transferred automatically into the GC.

04

Get the result

Measurement result incl. total gas content – insight into the gas saturation.

Expert System software

The Mobil GC 2 comes with the Expert System software. Apply various diagnostic methods or design your own method with individual gas concentrations as the basis for condition assessment.
