ES 2000

Online insulating-oil care during operation – continuous drying without shutting down the transformer.

Whatever oil is in the transformer – water particles in particular lead to rapidly ageing oil and oxidation. The ES 2000 filters in the bypass flow online during transformer operation: it dries the insulating oil, cleans it of particles and residues and reduces the acid content – all without shutting down the transformer.

Features

All benefits at a glance

Continuous online drying

Permanent removal of water from the insulating oil in the bypass flow – during operation of the transformer.

Removal of particles

High filter efficiency thanks to long contact time between oil and filter material – filter fineness 3 µm absolute.

Reduction of acid content

In addition to water and particles, the treatment also lowers the acid content and thus protects against oxidation and ageing.

Operation without shutdown

Filtration takes place in the bypass flow, without taking the transformer off the grid.

Pressure & leak monitoring

Self-priming pump incl. pressure and leak monitoring as well as a moisture sensor to indicate the drying level.

Cleaning of the entire oil system

The clean oil dissolves residues already deposited on components and in the tank – cleaning the entire oil system.

Process

How the treatment works

In the bypass flow during transformer operation – the ES 2000 draws in the oil, passes it slowly through the filter and drying cartridges and returns it cleaned.

Connect

The unit draws in the insulating oil at the lowest point of the transformer – online during operation.

Filter & dry

The oil flows slowly and at constant speed through the filter and drying cartridges.

Bind moisture

Cellulose and micro-filter cartridges reliably absorb water, particles and residues.

Return

The clean, dry oil is returned to the conservator or to another point on the transformer.
